a)     Suitable Extinguishers:
Carbon Dioxide (C02), Alcohol Resistant Foam, Foam, Dry Powder, Fluroprotein Foam (fp),
Inert Material Sand, Earth, etc.  NOTE Halons harm the environment and should not be used
     unless unavoidable.
b)     Unsuitable Extinguishers:
     Do not use water.
c)     Hazardous Decomposition:
Oxides of Carbon. May create Oxides of Nitrogen. Decomposes to produce irritating fumes.

d)     Special Procedures:
Use approved selfcontained breathing apparatus. Use water spray to cool containers. Prevent
runoff from fire control from entering waterways.

6.     Accidental Release Measures

a)     Exposure Controls:
Eliminate all sources of ignition. Evacuate area. Do not allow spill to enter drains and
watercourses. Ventilate area.

b)     Personal Protection:
Wear suitable protective clothing: See Section 8.

ventilation. Avoid sources of ignition. Avoid skin contact. Avoid eye contact.

b)          Storage:
Store in tightly closed labelled containers. Store in cool, dry, well ventilated area, off the ground.
Avoid extremes of temperatures. Store away from oxidising materials. Store away from
flammable materials. Store away from ignition sources. Store away from acids and alkalis/strong
bases.
