AQUAFIRE FRC CLEAR has been developed to provide a first class quality clear fire retardant coating on timber surfaces to provide the Class 1 and Class O finishes required by the Building Regulations. For both Class 1 and Class 0, Aquafire FRC Clear Basecoats and Topcoats are single component water based intumescent coatings. Aquafire FRC Clear is available in both a satin and matt finish.
AQUAFIRE FRC CLEAR will also overcoat many previously coated or stained timber surfaces to provide the necessary fire protection required by the regulations in new works and projects of refurbishment.
AQUAFIRE FRC CLEAR is supplied ready for use by brush, roller or spray application. All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from contamination.
For the best results with Aquafire FRC we recommend a test panel is prepared to check for reaction.
