Class 1 is a low surface spread of flame. This is the highest and best achievable rating used for performing in the domestic market, walls and ceiling usually.

Class 0 is for areas where limited combustibility is required in high risk areas such as an escape route.

Both Aquafire Fire Retardant Coating and Aquafire High Performance represent the latest developments in intumescent coating technology.

Aquafire FRC is a water based intumescent paint allowing application on site even when the building is occupied with virtually no odour.
